More comes to life everyday. It feels like sliding from illusion into the real world.
How would you define the historical past of İstanbul?
Few months ago, I came across with an image of İstanbul from 1950s . There were many men and women enjoying the day. I think it was taken in Karakoy. And sadly all the details from that image was so much more aesthetic and ironically modern when we compare it to today’s world.
Which streets can define İstanbul for you?
When I think about Istanbul. The first think comes to my mind the street called Bankalar Caddesi. Or maybe can be any streets around Kapalıçarşı area.
What does history mean for you?
