Paris Takes Menswear, PFW: Day One

Oh la la! The first day of Paris Fashion Week, hit the runway, sit back and see what happens at the heart of fashion. We gathered our favorits from day 1.

HED MAYNER

Hed Mayner calls of oversized, Orthodox mindset, and earth tones. Israeli designer used a lot of layering for his collection. Nautical themed concept apparels were missioned to fall straight down in a linear way as the designer had explained. Each season, he likes to play with layering and mixing the styles of fabrics on together. He has relaxed and alive vibes on his designs because he says, they are things that you go to sleep in, pieces in which you have a life. His explanative words address us at which points he wants to put finger on.

THE SOLOIST

The Tokyo based designer Takahiromiyashita chooses to design a black and blue dominated collection. His first show was in Bastille Design Center and we saw variable materials and fabrics used starting from lots of zippers to knit-wear clothes. Most of all, the bottom pieces were showing out the legs of models above high platform sneaker shoes. The belt secured backpacks brought an urbanization and uniqueness to the whole outfits.
