“It’s funny, because this is more of a risk than putting words on a T-shirt? Who knew that black, gorgeous, perfectly fitted suits would be a risk?”- Mary-Kate Olsen
The menswear collection will be a dedication to craftmanship, exclusive fabrics and fine tailoring. The designers were awarded by the CFDA Fashion Award for Accessory Designer of The Year on June. The industry is already expecting an outspace for womenswear market across menswear with brands such as Off-White and Supreme. So, the timing for The Row to launch a menswear collection is perfect. In an interview, they explained the aesthetic of the collection to be inspired from 1980s and 1990s. The tailored pieces will be made in Japan to achieve minimal luxurious touches with European sewing techniques. The shirting will be made in France with delicate details. And t-shirts and denims will be produced in U.S. Each piece will carry its authentic self and where it’s made.
The Row men’s collection will be available in The Row Retail Store and selected wholesale partners across the globe this October.
