New Yorker’s guess who’s back! A$AP Rocky’s tiding over all of us with the fan-favorite ‘Tailor Swif’ and it comes with a visual world that will definitely blow your mind. After his forthcoming album ‘Don’t Be Dumb’ got delayed fans are gifted a zany video and the song after it got leaked from back in 2022- remember that? Previously known to fans as “Wetty” the song has little to do with Taylor Swift, she’s in there solely as a rhyme as A$AP Rocky goes “I’m too swift / don’t tell Taylor ’bout this sh*t”. 

It would be unfair to categorize A$AP Rocky as just a rapper, a designer or a director. That’s a fact. He is the urban mixologist of all this, and ‘Tailor Swif’ is the ultimate cocktail. Directed by Vania Heymann and Gal Muggia, the video presents a surreal tapestry of bathroom hijinks, canine chaperones, airborne vehicles, and urban pandas and dolphins… It’s like a video matryoshka, with each time watch it you discover a new detail. Rocky continues on with his slavic obsession shooting the video in Kyiv, Ukraine; featuring his curated imagery, style choices and in the form of cultural references.
