Bad Influence: ‘The Idol’

The most anticipated series of this year; HBO’s ‘The Idol’, premiered at Cannes Film Festival. Starring Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd, highly controversial ‘The Idol’ is set to air on June 4th.

The series, which focuses on sexuality, cults, drugs and complex relationships, divided the critics into two. While Lily-Rose Depp was praised for her brave scenes and acting in the series, which has a current score of 27% in Rotten Tomatoes, the media reports about director Sam Levinson seem to be rather complicated.
