The fashion designer who makes tremendous impact with all his fashion shows in London Fashion Week, Bora Aksu makes a new collection that makes eyes at the Victorian trend. The collection details get their inspiration from the Woman’s Suffrage Movement from the early 20th century. Aksu points out that while the lacing and silky tulles symbolize Sophia Dullep Singh’s shyness under the blankets of aristocracy, the thick black and white lacing as well as plaid fabric symbolize passion and confidence. The pastel coloured handmade embroidery adorns the collar, cuffs and ribbons. Masculin hats are another catchy detail. The show highlights light shades of blue, pink and purple, along with blacks and whites. Besides a romantic, feminen and smooth stance, the collection also has a brave and challenging mood. The dominant and powerful attitude of the collection is shown in capes, jackets and coats.
