Dilara Fındıkoğlu x Marc Jacobs A Literal Definition of Punk “Heaven”

Shake out your spray paint, dry your black nails and untangle all your metal jewellery – London punk is back! Dilara Fındıkoğlu and Marc Jacobs team up for a collection that will literally put us onto “Heaven”! The ultimate Y2K, grunge girl collection is draped with coolness, as is Gigi Hadid, who takes the collection to another level.

Gothic Lolita as a statement. Dilara Fındıkoğlu imagines Gigi Hadid as “the” high school girl and designs accordingly. Full of naughtiness, the designer presents a collection of short skirts, slashed band tees, babydoll corset dresses and a tiny triangle bikini.

Living her teenage dreams Dilara states “When I was creating this collection, I had my high school years in mind, where I was listening to Avril Lavigne, the Runaways, Bikini Kill, and Girlschool, and trying to find my identity wearing metallic blue Marc Jacobs platforms.”

For Findikoglu’s collection, McElligott, renowned for plastering her naughty little gargoyles onto ceramics and canvases, creates a surreal version of Marie Antoinette’s feast, which is then translated onto the front of a coquettish lace-up bodice.
