emotional state of a color

Why do situations beyond our control occupy the most space in our minds? Just like recklessly scratching a scabbed wound, delving deeper into the spiral of this thought is actually as meaningless as setting sail against the harsh winds of cosmic indifference. While we tightly grasp the ropes amidst all these question marks, Han Yang stands before us not with answers but with new perspectives.

Seeing the complex relationship between identity, vulnerability, sincerity, and humanity’s environment as her own playground, Han invites us to an area of attraction that goes beyond the influence of words—to the dimension of colors. She reminds us that everything we do and experience is an extension of ourselves and adds: “Each piece is an exploration of themes I am closely connected to… In a way, my work is both a window and a mirror–it’s a way for me to process my own experiences and, at the same time, invite viewers to find something of themselves in it.” Highlighting the expressive emotional language of colors, Han states, “The emotional state of a color is its ability to convey feelings, moods, and atmospheres in a way that words often cannot. Colors have a unique emotional language.” bringing us together in a common medium of expression. Thus, questions do not find answers but merely change form. In fact, what could be the emotional state of a color?
