There’s a new focus on scales, proportions, and the perceptions that define silhouettes from none other than Loewe Creative Director Jonathan Anderson! The Loewe Fall/Winter 2024 Pre-Collection Campaign brings this amazing play of proportions from garment design to photography in a truly spectacular way! The campaign was shot in the incredible Bekonscot, the oldest model village in the world, built in 1930. It brought together some of the most talented artists and creatives, including Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, Dan Levy, Enzo Vogrincic, Kit Connor, Lesley Manville, Sophie Wilde, and 070 Shake. The amazing Jonathan Anderson’s nephew, Alfie Anderson, was also there as a special guest.
The campaign, photographed by the incredible Juergen Teller, captures the artist’s intimate perception of Loewe in a truly stunning way. The images captured in Bekonscot are both familiar and astonishing—a truly amazing sight to behold! Sophie Wilde, for example, leans against the wall of a miniature castle with a denim Squeeze bag, looking absolutely adorable! Alison Oliver poses in some truly amazing ways, submerged in a pond or inside a castle, displaying her incredible flamenco bag. Enzo Vogrincic, wearing a velvet suit and carrying a flamenco backpack, balances on a railroad tunnel with such precision! Lesley Manville holds a giant sunflower and a Squeeze bag, while 070 Shake looks at the camera with a miniature deer on his head—it’s so fun!
The gorgeous Loewe bags in Puzzle, Hammock, Puzzle Fold Tote, Puzzle Fold Tote, Flamenco, and Squeeze models take center stage in the campaign shoot, showcasing their soft and flexible forms in all their glory. Juergen Teller’s vision, which approaches the shoot like a documentary and adds humor, is absolutely brilliant! It perfectly reinforces Loewe’s image based on visual expression and adds a bit of magic to the game.
