Sincere, participative and if possible, the synonym of that – now trampled – word “creative.”

And Yasemin in three words?

Can Kolektif respond on my behalf? Excited, loud and energetic.

I’m not sure if it was Kolektif’s positive energy that made you the way you are, or if your energy somehow “domesticated” Kolektif, but how do you keep your positive attitude towards life?

I think a place gets its energy from the people in it. We opened Kolektif in high spirits. After that, every new person in our team and each new Kolektif member raised this energy. Then we ended up drawing our energy from Kolektif.

I’m very lucky. I’m working on something which I’m so passionate about that it causes me sleepless nights, with people I really love. My family, my chosen family, my friends, my partner and our team are such beautiful people. They never let me get pessimistic about life.

One would think that you’ve been everywhere if they were to click on your Instagram map and saw all the pins. You do think there is so much more to see though, right? Where do you want to go next?

I want to be a traveler, to see the whole world. There are so many places I haven’t seen, so many people I haven’t touched; I cannot separate one continent from the other. But I can say that Bhutan, Cambodia and Peru is next in line.

What is that one company that interested you the most, that you watched growing under Kolektif’s roof?

Mutlubiev and BUGECE; Mutlubiev offers house and office cleaning services. BUGECE serves as a nightlife guide as well as event organizers. Everything is for a cleaner and a more fun world!

The most striking quote you’ve heard during Kolektif Talks?

Something Nil Karaibrahimgil said; ‘’When you are being yourself, when you do what you want to do in life; however senseless, funny, or absurd it is; when you reveal your colors, it can turn into a good thing. I am the living proof of this. I learned that it is useless to be afraid of being yourself, to reveal your color.”

How do you spend your Sundays?

Let me tell you about my dream Sunday, so what I do will assure what I will be doing. Waking up early in the morning, yoga after a walk in the woods. Then a very long breakfast with all my friends. I’ll squeeze in a little bit of work too. Sundays are not too long anyways, Monday comes in a blinks time.

Ahmet and Damla.

If you could, with whom would you like to swap lives with?

Aliens. Anyone of them would work. Someone has to explain what’s up with all these rumors. Stay tuned.
