Countdown To The Oscars!

Does ‘Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences’ ring a bell? What about ‘The Oscars’? The award ceremony the one’s name is changed in 2013, happened in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in 1929 and it started to be on TV after 24 years from that. We are counting down to the 91stOscar ceremony with its most iconic moment of the history!

10- Marlon Brando

Most of the people in movie sector are dreaming about this award, and it seems kind of impossible to turn it down right? Well, in 1973 Marlon Brando has nominated to the ‘Actor In A Leading Role’ category with his performance in ‘The Godfather’, and he turn the award down to highlight the Red-Indian holocaust. We watched Red-Indian Sacheen Littlefeather on the stage to reject his award on behalf of him.

9- Adrien Brody

The one with Adrien Brody kissing Halle Berry on the stage in 2003 was one of the remembered moments of Oscar history. We believe that he was very happy by winning the ‘Actor In A Leading Role’ award, and he couldn’t help himself.

8- The Most Iconic Selfie of All Time 

And the iconic selfie! The one that had millions of likes just in seconds, shot by EllenDeGeneres in 2014. It seems like the photo that Angelina Jolie, Bradley Cooper, Kevin Spacey, Jared Leto, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Lupita Nyong’o and Brad Pitt are in it, will remain as the most speculative photo of the history.

7- Jennifer Lawewnce

We definitely can say that, Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most popular names in the Oscar history! She became famous with her fallings on the stage and the red carpet in 2013/2014 and the leaping the seats over just to go her spot in 2018. Lawrence, is one of the crazy participants in the night with no doubt!

6- Neil Patrick Harris

When Neil Patrick Harris was on the stage in his white underwear to perform a ‘Birdman’ parody in 2015, we were all just shocked! With his magnificent talent in acting and his brave attitude, he is perfect for this position!

5- Lady Gaga, Till It Happens To You

The way that Lady Gaga dedicates her song ‘Till It Happens To You’ to all sexually abused people, became one of the remembered performance on Oscar stage with the quite emotional moments.

4- Leonardo DiCaprio

There was something huge in this year and everybody was like ‘Finally!’. Leonardo DiCaprio who could not win any awards in an unknown and odd way despite of all nominations, with his role in The Revenant he finally came together with the statue as ‘Actor In A Leading Role’ in 88thAcademy Awards.

3-Blue Ribbon

‘Blue Ribbon’ was the most spectacular accessorize of 2017.  American Civil Liberties Union started a campaign to emphasize freedom, justice and equality, and most of the participants chose blue ribbon as accessorize to support this formation.

2- Oops 

In 2017, something happened for the first time in the entire Oscar history. Wrong announcement! When it came to announce the ‘Best Picture’ category, Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway was on the stage to present the award. And they yelled in an enthusiastic way; ‘La La Land’. But the real winner was… ‘Moonlight’… Oscar team realized the situation during the speech, burst in the producer Jordon Horowitz on and announced the winner.

2019… We’ll see what happens in the night the one we expect a remarkable performance from the well-known duo Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper. We are holding our breaths to watch the night in couple hours!
