Based Istanbul talks with Nilperi Şahinkaya

Right now, I’m in Capri. I’m wearing my bikini, a pink bikini. I’m on the beach, with my loved ones. I’m drinking juice, I think I’m thirsty, I’m drinking a lot of juice and… I don’t know what’s in the juice, maybe there is some pineapple in it, I want a mixture of fruits. Pineapple, orange, I don’t know, something different. I want it to be different, I want it to be something I’ve never tasted before. I drink it with a straw, I have one of those little umbrellas as well. We’re going to dip into the water soon, first we chat in the shade. Slowly the sun is starting to set and I am very happy. 

I feel good right now. I mean, I don’t know so… Good, good, everything is fine, I’m at a good point in my life, I know it’s going to be even better. That’s why I feel good. 

I think winning in life is always about moving forward in the way you know is right. To realise yourself in life. Character, creating a right identity. Creating a true character for yourself. Sometimes, at some points, you have to be able to give up some ideas, sometimes you have to insist on some ideas, and therefore sometimes you have to go for it, sometimes you have to take a step back, and while doing all this, you have to know what to do at which moment. It’s kind of like a riddle, I think. 

To be at peace with yourself, to be honest to yourself. To know your weak points, to know your strong parts, to move forward accordingly. So, something about that… Understanding yourself, wanting to discover yourself. A journey within yourself…
