Chanel “The Iconic Handbag” – Do you have any rooms available?

Cinema, a blank pedestal, the carrier of emotions has always been a great source for Chanel. The house draws inspiration, spirit of love and canned feelings in the brink of bursting with “The Chanel Iconic Handbag” campaign.

“Do you have any rooms available?” a question that tingles down every inch of your body, a question that stops time, a question that creates movement… Claude Lelouch’s masterpiece “A Man and A Woman” asks It in such a way that words feel electric. Made in 1966 the movie still continues to inspire with its eclectic choices of scenery, the conveying of emotions and of course the cast.

Anouk Aimée delivers a pure, driven by the moment act in the vast landscape of Deauville. The town stands out not only with its depth of scenery but also the many stories that still touch today. Mademoiselle Chanel shares one of those stories, the story of a hat boutique named Chanel.

Virginie Viard, much like Mademoiselle Chanel, has found inspiration in the seventh art. Dots connect with the car shot in the movie, where Anouk Aimée grips her Chanel bag in effort to find comfort, to cope with the incredible effect that love has on the body. This bag we see in the movie was Anouk’s personal bag which she held dearly. The director had a very limited budget so the actors had to pick their own outfits, upon watching the campaign we’re glad that they did.

Chanel turns this body of art into an ad campaign smoldering with sensuality. Penélope Cruz and Brad Pitt star in a way that is truly magical, creating an atmosphere that is very daunting yet confident.

Deauville’s dazing atmosphere, Brad and Penélope’s impeccable acting, emotions of a widowed couple who redefine love for each other, drama of black and white and most importantly the Chanel Handbag weaving the past and present together… Now we ask again, “Do you have any rooms available?”
