MM6 x Supreme – Paris meets New York

Whatever you want, Supreme has it. The king of collaborations is back with another capsule collection, this time with the Parisienne house Maison Margiela MM6. 

New York skate culture celebrates creativity, artisanship and love for the street ever since 1994 with Supreme. We see a red box logo in the streets of Manhattan, instantly recognizable. We move our gaze to Paris, to enigmatic clouds and avant-garde aesthetics. Here, Maison Margiela welcomes us with a world truly unique to itself.

Two worlds clash in a collection full of DNA. Supreme’s iconic pieces, reimagined by the house we are met with trompe-l’oeil denims and t-shirts, cut and sewn bomber jackets, a patchwork fur coat literally redefining the meaning of center of attention and obviously a skateboard. 

The collection is exactly what we’d imagined it to be. Whether predictability comes with consistency or with mediocrity is up for debate. We’ll get our answer on March 28 when the collection gets a global release.
